    I'm sure you folks recognize this young man... 1977 MLB Hall of Fame. Ernie was a big supporter of the Chicago Boys Clubs. You can see the back of my head in the batting picture (???). This was probably around 1960-62. A real straight-shooter. No scandals. A role model for us kids.

    This is one of my favorites from the 60's on a Chicago Boys Club nature hike. It tells several stories... curiosity, camaraderie, wonder, appreciating our environment, giving a good boy an alternative to the street, and more. It engages me and takes me back.
