Thoughts on leather of Schott leather jackets!
I learned a lot from Oren Schott's articles. I did not know that the horsehide used for the sleeves in the jacket come from the hind of the horse.- SJC

New Schott 618 Horsehide!!! Questions....
I just got a 641 Horsehide the other day that was just finished being made at the factory in NJ and I thought my sleeves were soft too. Glad I wasn't the only one. I thought it was going to be like armor, it wasn't.- SJC

I love everything about that jacket, except the wool lining. Moths ate all my sweaters to shreds. Wishing that was satin or sateen lining or Id gladly pay the money.- SJC
