I was just wearing a good hat while attaching some sticky weather stripping. At least your spots are evenly spaced, and close to the space between crown and brim. Still a great find, and a great hat you'll enjoy.
I like that swoop in the brim. I've had hats with no liners, and I usually didn't miss having a liner. Sometimes if they have a cool color I feel somehow fashion elevated.
I am really wowed because I was talking to the hat maker, Hufvud, about a hat order, and we finalized it. I emailed about a change to a cattlemens crease, and I think the maker remade the hat entirely. I felt bad, but I suppose he wants happy customers, and i really, really appreciate that . I'm...
Hufvud has some large hats for sale, or makes custom order. I'm late in the conversation, so not sure if you're sold on a certain hat or price. I'm also happy w my Agnoulita custom.
You got some hats. FitzGerald "Special" indeed. This color, flange, liner ,and ribbon detailing is just great. You always have a good showing in this thread.
Agnoulita. Grey Wide Brim Western Fedora in Premium Beaver Fur Felt. The Ulysses. I had this hat customized to the point where it is no longer a Ulysses anymore... it's a thin ribbon fedora w a cattlemens crease.
A Goorin Brothers ad. What demographic are you targeting? Just as well... all their fedoras in the Denver location (10 yrs ago) were wool, not felt. I even saw a couple gents in the square with misshapen hats and it wasn't hard to put 2 & 2 together.
