Ask a Question, Get An Answer About Outerwear

Found this "Sidewinder" jacket on the Bill Kelso archives line. Anyone know the background on this jacket? Seems reminiscent of the Peter's. Well more like half a Peter's based on the one "winged" flap.

I'm glad this new rule has people checking out the rest of the lounge. There's such a wealth of information and great people who are eager to share their knowledge. I know this thread applies to selling - but on the buying side, only engaging with the classifieds to score deals from generous...

    Master supply co leather jacket

Pretty much this Some prefer having vintage zippers on their repros as it's more period correct - myself included. However, that's not to say modern zip makers like YKK or RiRi are lacking any functionality and I wouldn't knock someone for having a jacket with them installed either. It's just my...

    Master supply co leather jacket

Putting the cart before the horse - the master supply way I suppose. Looking closer at the picture, the ticket pocket flap looks "dainty" and doesn't gel with the rest of it. Strange choice to design it that way.

    Master supply co leather jacket

Tombstone is probably the crappiest name I’ve seen on a leather jacket. Whatever will they come up with next? A matching “Eulogy” belt and “Last Rites” boots? Maybe throw in a “Final Rest” wallet to complete the set? That should let people know how hard you’re trying to get in an early grave lol

Finds and Deals - Leather Jacket Edition

LW Trojan - $850 + shipping Looks to be an older one made for Japanese market based on lining + some of the design cues like shape of D-pocket and more arched western yoke. The HH here will be a lot lighter than their usual 4oz jackets

    Any good Denim crosszip jackets?

They'll do any of their jackets in denim too... Even a giant denim peacoat if desired

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Very interesting to compare with yours. The top of the D-pocket has a flatter angle, ticket pocket is noticeably wider. Western yoke has more of an arch shape. Very cool jacket.

Yeah mainly showed it for the green - very eye catching. Roadhouse is definitely a nicer looking design.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

You bet. I see you're getting some rain therapy on yours too. And yeah, there's never been an issue where I've had to wait longer than 2 months for a jacket. Stu usually gives me a 4-6 week timeline saying my orders are simple. I'll take it. Really dig the shearling collar too. It probably...

Thanks! I gotta admit, your fit pics swayed me. So glad about how this one turned out. Took a month to be made. Here’s some fit pics. Don’t think it could fit any better out of the box.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Got the LW Trojan today. 4oz Russet HH, Crown main zip. Heavy boy coming in at 7.8lbs. I mostly get their jackets in black, but the russet just gets all the design elements to pop in person. The original Trojan is what got Stu in the M/C jacket game. Now I see why - Amazing. Will post some...
