I particularly love this one. You're definitely on the button with the date by the look of the stitching on the sweat band, and the ribbon and bow treatment.

Late 30s to early 40s, I'd say.

Beautiful dark grey homburg from Gibus made by Mossant. This felt is incredible soft. Everything is in 100% mint condition. I think it's old, who knows? I believe it's 40's, maybe 50's. It's one of the best homburgs i own so far. Thanks @steur for the tip.....

Gorgeous hat, Marcel. My eye was drawn to it mainly because of that beautiful liner and because Gibus hats other than chapeau-claque are rare. It turning out a dark heathery grey is a wonderful surprise.
