My new Aero Rockafella in Horween Cognac Pinnacle Horsehide. What do we think?

It's my first made to measure jacket, so I was really worried I would do something wrong or make a bad choice. But I think it worked out all right.
Maybe the inside pocket wasn't really necessary, as my wallet still doesn't fit comfortably. And I'm glad the shoulder padding works out, I was a bit afraid of the measurement on the stock pattern.

Its a modified size 44. The sleeves and back are shortened by an inch. And the hem is taken in to 21 inch from 23 inch. The rest is the regular pattern.

Stitching: cream contrast stitching
Lining: olive sateen
Buttons: catseye Corozo

That one´s a winner! One of the best looking RF I have seen.

I am a big fan of inside pockets (wallet/Mobile), and I have always found Aero´s pockets to be of good size. Maybe change to a sleeker wallet...?!

That is certainly something to try, though I'm quite attached to my huge trucker wallet.

Sometimes when I'm wearing dress trousers, I don't want to do the whole backpocket+chain.

Btw how is Pinnacle? Is it still or soft? and any squeaking sounds with wear?
It's quite soft and supple, no breaking in required. Still feels solid as a rock though, I'm only used to cheap leather jackets and in comparison this one is also heavy as a rock. No where near as bad as some of the other horween leathers though.

No squeaking whatsoever.

Realy love the pull up effect and scuffabilty, just like chromexcel. But for such a dressier jacket the added drape and suppleness is really nice, and really enhances the pattern.

This cognac colour also is not uniform on colour, which I actually really like.

...and it is a beauty.

I usually leave the house with only a folder for my banking cards and some banknotes. That I can even put in the front-pocket of my jeans. I only ever take the full wallet when I might need a passport or else.
