Hello everyone! I'm trying to identify (or at least somewhat id the style and material, if not the actual brand) of Johnny's roughed out hat he wore in early 2000's. Attached are some higher-quality closeups I was able to find.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I'm new to fedora's in general? Thanks!

Maybe. There are more Depp threads on here. Google "Johnny Depp fedora fedora lounge." It’s been much discussed and you may find what you're looking for.

Fruno's right - you'll find a lot of discussion on TFL about JD's hats but you are also right, you might not find this specific one.

I've never seen this one before but it looks like a Stetson P.layboy to me. It also looks like it might have had its brim cropped a little. Definitely a P.layboy-esque ribbon and bow.

Unfortunately with the AI overlord censor that we were gifted last year, you might not even be able to search for a P.layboy anymore. There is a dedicated thread, I just don't know how to find it now.

Good luck in your search. I'd start by Googling Stetson P.layboy (without the period).
