John Lofgren Sizing. Specifically Roper boots and Engineers.

Hello ~ very new to the engineer world and was wondering what size i'd take in John Lofgrens Engineer and Roper boots. Im a true 9US in Red Wing Iron Ranger. A true 8.75US on Brannock. I have a slightly wider foot.

I owned a pair of Red Wing engineers in a 8.5US which fit me perfect.

No, that's terrible advice. Roper runs small. I'd take 9

if you wear Red Wing engineers in a 8.5US and true true 8.75US on Brannock, you will be swimming in those i think.

i am closer to 9.5 brannock with wide toe narrow heel. Wesco 9D Boss fits me great because of bulbous toe. Narrow toe boots i dont do too well. Japanese boots are a hit or miss for me in 9D.

I tried John Lofgrens 9D in both engineer and 8.5 roper . Engineers with thicker insole fit me, but Roper had a massive heel lift and had to return. maye be i just i had unusual shaped feet, i am not sure.

sorry, 9 would be too big i think (i could be totally wrong lol, but my experience is different). buy both sizes and return the one that dont fit. F&P, freenote cloth (if you are in states) are pretty good with returns.

I feel like the 9 would be big. Ill go with a 8.5 for now..
