This hat has, amazingly, been downsized some. It has been further altered to create a fedora shape. The brim has been trimmed to 2", presumably to eliminate damage that would have otherwise rendered the hat unwearable. Whoever did the brim and brim-ribbon work on this hat did a phenomenal job. It is very, very clean.

I personally wish I had the size back, as it's a little snug on me, and I personally wouldn't have altered a hat like this to size it down regardless.

Still, this is probably one of my coolest hats. It is very wearable, while not the original shape, it is a good looking hat, and it's my only Stetson One Hundred. Probably the only one I will ever own, unless something amazing drops on my head straight out of the sky.

If that informal did formal mean a morning coat or other tails? Looking sharp, as usual.
Your comment and compliment (thank you,) did make me smile. My bow-ties get many a comment, mostly an enquiry as to where I bought it.
Every Aloha shirt that Tina made, nearly always produced enough off-cut to make a bow-tie. I have quite a collection.

Do you think it looks formal? Admittedly it's unusual but colourful enough not to be taken formally. The first tie that Tina made left enough fabric to make a matching hatband. That hatband just didn't work but the bow-tie and hat gets many a remark.

These posts make me want to start an Aloha shirt collection - wouldn’t know where to begin.
