I went in the shop and tried one on a year or so ago. A very friendly and helpful staff btw. Jacket fit just a little ****** than expected, leather maybe a little stiffer (though brand new of course). But felt like quality for sure.

Not really from what I saw on their site. But for what they do have, it's pretty high quality. And here is the site, so that you won't have to go searching on google or various map applications

Like @Rugby says, it might be worthwhile to have a look at their website and see how it looks to you. I came up from DC, but my daughter lives in Philadelphia so I combined it with visit with her. It's a small store, but I was surprised how much they had that I was interested in -- not only jackets but pants and shirts and a decent selection of boots. BTW, the guy in the store when I was there said that they can work with Simmons Bilt to customize their jackets a bit, which is a real plus.
If you can plan to do some other activity in Philadelphia then it might well be worth the trip. I'd say that there are lots of good and interesting restaurants, as well as museums, which there are, but you've got that in NYC of course.
On the other hand, the ability to try on jackets that cost a grand or two might well be worth the price of a trip!

Agreed. I don’t think I could live with the left-hand zipper, but I know that Simmons Bilt will do a right side if you ask. Kinda surprised that Franklin and Poe did not specify it, as a US shop.

Anyone with the SB “Ranch” jacket on the forum? Just wondering about the fit. Probably a more relaxed design à la Highwayman/trucker? Going by the pics, at least.

First time I see this. Fairly new design. Reminds me of my Teamster. Only jacket I regret selling. Would pick one up at once in 38/40..
