Tenjin Works Love

i wanted a thread to show some love for Tenjin works. they are starting to become my most loved brand for their crazy colours and unique iteration to classic designs and very experimental. they should be talked about on the same realm of RC, TRMCcoys , freewheelers. there is no brand that are doing as they are in leather jacket world not at their level. their recent type 1 denim looking navy leather is one example. do some of you agree?

I want to try their cr in greige but waiting to see it somewhere other than their stock pics, and I wish their olive was more green than brown.

I’m not really into any of their other colors though, I also wish they would do a medium gray.

I think overall they’re a bit long in the body, and you can’t custom order the body length below the smallest sz 34 they offer, which is still in the 24”-25” range for the single riders and cafe racer.

But if anyone ever sees real life pics of this color, or this cr fs in a stock sz 34, please let me know.

Other than on their website, I’ve only seen these pics comparing their tan, olive and burgundy, I was told all 3 were the normal cow leather, and I was also told that the oiled kip was more shiny and soft.

The owner of these 3 jackets also told me this about the olive color in cowhide.

“It starts of very green but fades into an brown olive from the sun”

I think it darkens over time and then turns olive green.
But that is long time after years of wear . Tenjin works jacket fades very slowly for it reach olive stage it will take more than 7 -8 years even if you wear heavily. They have separate page where they showcase their faded you can look it up.

They are nice quality but their sizes are a little snug. The 42 I owned fit like a trim 40. Love the color though!

Not a huge fan of their designs. I was interested in the denim leather they recently released but it turned out to be way too expensive.
Really like the tochigi leather though.
