Raining out this morning, so I'm stuck taking pictures inside.

This is my "white Borsalino." Actual color is Panera, per the factory sticker. Originally imported and sold through McDougall Cassou Ltd., a longtime upscale men’s outfitter in Phoenix, Arizona. The business was founded in 1897 by Malcom McDougall, and Joseph Cassou came on board as a partner in 1902. I believe the store lasted into the 1970s.

This hat is on purpose, not by accident lol. A full 3 1/8" brim with a 6" open crown — about 5 1/4" at the highest point as it sits right now. It makes me think of a Borsalino with a bit of a Southwestern vibe.

I love this thing.

Growing up around Knoxville, Sullivan and Underwoods, used to occupy the ground floor of the Sullivan building at 300 G a y st.... The building collapsed many yrs back, and its one of Downtown Knoxville's "gaps" where buildings were never rebuilt, but left as parking lots

I think all three hats were from a Knoxville estate sale. I'll check the other 2 and see where they might have come from. The others were a Knox with a wholesale label still inside and the last was a custom hat from a local shop. Earlier this week I came up with a hat from a Dayton, OH hatter I had seen @Frunobulax mention. This must be "old home week."

Part of a three hat auction win, this Sheltonian from St. Louis is on my head today.

Digging a bit further, this logo on the sweatband implies that the Shelton Hat Company (from where the Sheltonian stems) is one of the Langenberg hat sellers and in fact, may have been one of the names used for the company prior to Langenberg 1900's - 1910's). This hats is clearly a mid-century made one.

Nothing on the inside of the Knox, but the third one, looks to be a custom, is from Nick's Place. Ever hear of it?

It was a maintnance day yesterday... Did some cleanup and shaping on the Hemp Open Road, and had some work done on the beard. Both look better in the early morning light today. Hat no longer looks like a Good Will hat shipped in a bag, and the facial hair have moved from moonshiner towards civil war general

Felt like I needed a green hat today... This one a Sovereign Stetson from Byrnie Utz in Seattle. My favorite hat shop way back when I lived up there. Walked past that shop on the way to and from my bus stop every day for 10 yrs. From a 1989 dated receipt tucked inside I figured that at some point this hat was inside the shop when I walked in or by
