Here are a couple of caps I wore end of last week.

Envious of the tweed weather!

Me too. This year southern California has been unseasonably hot and humid for this time of year, so I'm looking forward to the days when caps/hats, a warm jacket, and water proof/resistant boots will be required for meeting the weather head-on. Sadly that doesn't usually happen until some time in mid-October, so we have some waiting to do.

Just back from a work trip. This is Monday morning, on my way out to teach in a Non-Stock, eight-panel:

Surprisingly nice cap for about £30. Not on the level of the more expensive stuff in my collection, but very much holds its own, wears nicely, and, well - sometimes it's nice, particularly when away from home, to have a cap to hand where it's not the end of the world if it should get left in a restaurant.

Monday proved to be warmer than I had bargained for, so when my afternoon plans changed (an online meeting was cancelled, and I had nothing else I could practically do with the time), I shed the jacket and tie for a long walk through town. Normally in Paris I only have the time to paddle about locally in the evening to pick up some food, but this time I was able to walk down to the Eiffel (the Tower itself is about twenty minutes' walk from the hotel) and along the river as far as Notre Damme and the Louvre, then back again. A very pleasant afternoon.

The shirt is one of Aero's CC41 line. Stunning quality, though had I realised how warm it was going to be I might have slipped something lighter into my case!
