Today I'm wearing this Hufvud "Ragnar" that I recently got from eBay.

I really like this hat. I like the shape, I like the color combo of the felt and ribbon, I like the chunky bow, I like the dark liner and the felt quality and finish are nice. I believe this is a rabbit felt, if I recall correctly. Nice and supple, not too stiff.

Quite a handsome hat, and that bow is the bomb!

Was scanning the walls of hats for a good coffee hat, when I saw this one calling out "pick me! pick me!"

Starting off friday morning a bit differently.... A Stetson Boy Scout Campaign cover. This one wanted to develop a bit of a front/ rear swoop so I think it looks better than flat. Have thought about maybe adding some edge binding, flanging the brim and popping out the back of the crown and makng it a semi "There will be blood" tribute hat. Didnt have a ribbon when it came to live with me so I added a 5/8" ribbon with Campaign bow. Keep meaning to flatten the bow and sew it down, but so far the double sided tape has held it in place ok. only been a year or so... guess Im not in a hurry on this little thing lol.

Today a "POET" just not THE Poet....I like this one a lot, but like a lot of their hats had little structure on the brim. So I spent time and re-flanged the brim (and of course pressed down the bow that they did absolutely nothing to). It is holding up well now. It is a nice rich dark brown with red overtones (much darker than it photographs)....I now like it a lot.:)

And of course the liner is well...awesome!;)

It's like their thing, I guess. All of mine are the same. Trademark move.

My new boater came in. I acquired this from a vintage seller in LA papermoon. Its in pretty mint condition for its age. Its been difficult to find in my size 7 3/8. Not sure how I'm going to style it yet but the fit is on point.

Also could anybody help me pin down the decade?
