For my first time on here I thought I'd share a recent project. This is a 1980's Robert Cheau mini backpack I brought back to life. I love bringing vintage Benchmade leather back into the world for daily use where it belongs.

Old leather never dies as long as it isn't given up on lol.

It was pretty dry and starving for good conditioner, but very good condition over all. I absolutely love old backpacks. I got a few lol. Are you familiar with Robert Cheau? He had a small shop in Greenwich village New York in the 80's. I think it was about '92 when he retired. He was known for using baseball glove leather a lot.. I'm about to work on this one for my brother.

I'm not... but I do enjoy the feel and look of quality old leather goods for sure.
