I get that these are grail jackets, but the condition on this one is abysmal IMO. Can someone help me understand why this one is going to fetch north of $6,000 dollars? I'm trying to better understand the market here.

Maybe this design is ultra-rare?

I just got this exact jacket, but in the steer hide. Sold to me via Facebook marketplace. I am dumbfounded! Size 44. And it fits like a glove. Can't wait for cooler weather. Washington DC has been experiencing 104*f days or it feels like 115*f.

What a beautiful horsehide. Would love this also.
