Aero Indian Range - Creases on the back ?

Hello guys,
I’ve been reading this forum for some years now and it has been very helpful for my jackets journey.
Today I would like to share with you a thought I have on one of my favorite jacket.
I own an Aero Indian Ranger in Dark Seal Vicenza with cotton as a liner. The jacket is 1,5 years old now and has been worn a lot in all kind of weathers.
I truly like this jacket, the features, the fit that is big enough for layering and yet has a slim waist.
Yet since the beginning the P2P has been a bit big (like it’s intended on this specific model) and with time it has created natural creases on the back below my right arm (see the fit pictures).
I was wondering if that means my jacket is too big on me ? Or if that’s a natural development on this kind of model with a large P2P and quite high armholes ?
Thank you for your feedback :)

The jacket looks great - I wouldn't worry about the back since you can't see it while your wearing the jacket. Most creases that occur on the back panel are usually horizontal/diagonal and variations thereof. When I wear a leather jacket when driving the back rubs against the back of the leather seat in the car and creates unique creases.

The creases on the back of your jacket seem to be vertical and may be from the way you are wearing it for the photo.

I understand your concern but the jacket looks good on you and maybe wearing it while allowing the back to come into contact with various materials/surfaces will introduce additional creases.

I have attached a back view of my Aero Type III in Navy Vicenza - this was taken about 4 years ago and the jacket has acquired additional creases beyond this image.

I had similar, albeit more symmetrical, creases form and shape into "gussets" due to excess material in the back on an Aero HWM that I bought in my true size (it runs very big). It never bothered me.

The jacket is not too big in a sense that it fits you as intended by the manufacturer. Whether you share the manufacturers vision of a good fit is for you to decide.

It looks good in the front to me. The back looks massive, you look twice as big from the back as from the front.. which is not necessarily a bad thing if you are not self-conscious about it. If you feel comfy in the jacket and it is comfy to wear, just keep on rocking it!

Thank you guys for your feedbacks!

For information you will find the measurements of the jacket bellow (size 36) :
Shoulders - 17,5"
P2P - 21,5"
Hem - 17"
Back - 23,25" (original pattern is 23,75 inches long for this size)
Sleeves - 24,5" (I've asked -1" on this part when I've ordered it)
The back of this jacket is specially sewn for the convenience of riding a motorcycle. So that there is more movement for the hands

Indeed when I put my arms in front of me, like I would on a motorcycle, the jacket seems perfectly fit to my body and the back is flat, so I guess it's meant to be like this with extra material on the back...

Die Jacke müsste an der Taille enger getragen werden. Sie müsste auch höher sitzen. Zu groß-

I don't speak german but I understand that you said I should shorten the jacket and reduce the hem size (in order to get a more V-shape jacket I guess?).
I could indeed reduce the back's length but it would not be true to the original IR which was quite a "long" jacket among the 40s-50s motorcycle jackets.
The jacket just sit on my belt likes it intended to be and the hem is already very narrow (17 inches), I'm not sure I could aford less unless I wear it very high like you suggest.

Nevermind I don't think those modifications would change anything about the creases in the back which, I suppose, could disapear if I had a bigger back or if I sized down with modifications (extra space for shoulders at least) but it could be too tight for me on other part I'm afraid.
It's kind of a tricky pattern with this strong drop of 4,5 inches between armholes and waist, a tight neckhole and waist, which may think it's a natural V-shape jacket and yet there is a lot of room around the body.
