Sunday errands in another of the new finds, a custom made from Apollo Hatters of Cicero, IL, Scarface's old neck of the woods. Likely just a neighborhood hater back in the day, we would pay a fortune for a hat like this today from a good custom hater. This one is likely 40's or early 50's based upon who owned the address at the time.

For church this morning my bespoke Susquehana. You could say that my trousers are bespoke too, Tina made them. She took the hat with her to the fabric store in order to get a good colour match.

Every week your showing is a masterpiece, but this week is simply, overwhelmingly, beyond belief. Hat for this morning's dog walk was my early-2000s Stetson Temple. Like many hats I've owned over the years, this one came from The Hat Guys, an Oakland, CA store on Broadway that was in business from 1988 to 2017.

I am eastward bound again, after a fantastic three week tour of western cities. I've hit Portland, Vegas, Phoenix, Los Angeles and now Salt Lake City. I am back in the Fed IV for the midwest, but I had a darn good run under the JBS 25 OR.

I am posting a number of hat photos from the tour (and maybe a few without hats). The first two are now.

Thank you, Robert. Sunshine: yes. Temperature: not so much. So we're not quite ready yet to enjoy the same summer clothing you are. Hopefully soon though. Looking splendid again, Robert.

This morning I took along a Portis Swansback with the Swan's Down Finish that was among the new hats I got in while I was away. A real 1940's feel to this one and an $8.50 price tag to boot for its "Sterling Quality."
