Ack!! Forgot to post last night!

Here's yesterday's wear: an un-named model 1940s Portis Super-Lux.

A 1940's Portis Super-Lux. What a magnificent profile, the ribbon, the colour and the style, what a gem. That is some hat Mark, I love it.

Battersby looking quite perfect
Thanks, Joe.

It wasn’t till I looked at these photos this morning, I realized how “Easter egg” this whole look was projecting. I guess that worked out… Happy Easter.

Champ Imperial.

That's beautiful, Joe, Great shape and colour.

My favourite of the easter day!
Thank you, Daniele.

Gorgeous, Jim. What a hat!

The T&W Lees Wolf, such a striking colour Stefan, it's always a difficult pleasure selecting just one, but that hat made it just a tad easier today.
For the Easter service at church this morning my Susquehana Smoke-grey was ideal for the occasion. Wishing you all a very Happy Easter.

One of the most unique hats I’ve managed to find, with a white heathered felt, decorative spiral stitching through the brim, a woven band that resembles sound waves , and a bright red feather accent that is poised “the wrong direction.”
Light and whimsical. Too light for these winds today, so I had to leave it at home for my walk. It did make it out to holiday festivities, however.
Fantastic Portis, Jeff. Nice heathery felt and that ribbon is just right for it.

Simply.Freaking.Wow. Possibly the hardest Sunday decision-making I've faced yet. After a good ten minutes of going back and forth over those photos, I'm finally going with the T&W Lees Wolf as #1, the Valensy as #2, and the Barbisio as #3. In truth, there's barely a micron of difference between ANY you showed us this week. Thank you, Stefan!
Thank you, Mark.

J. Hückel'a Synove Vídeň (J. Hückel´s Söhne Wien), made for the Czech market and from the early 1900s under Austria Hungary. I really like the lower profile and striking Liner and unique textured Sweatband. Also it has a very tight Brim Curl. I found this Stiff Felt back in 2013

This a photo of the Paper Label that I took back in 2013. What is interesting is the French Point Size is in Quarters "Weite / Size 5 3/4" and not Halves. J. Hückel´s Söhne used French Point Quarters Sizing in this time period.

J. Hückel´s Söhne "110 Year Anniversary" (1909) booklet so in the same time period as the above Stiff Felt. I found the booklet back in 2012.

Fabulous hat, Steve. A real treasure, as is the booklet for that matter.

1930''s Stetson Number 1 that I just had cleaned and reshaped. Along with RRL jacket, shirt, jeans and boots. A Ralph Lauren day.
