Looks great. I really like the shape you put on the brim!Modified Akubra Longhorn (I need to sand down the brim edges a bit more) for this up and down spring weather

Possibly the hardest Sunday decision-making I've faced yet. After a good ten minutes of going back and forth over those photos, I'm finally going with the T&W Lees Wolf as #1, the Valensy as #2, and the Barbisio as #3. In truth, there's barely a micron of difference between ANY you showed us this week. Thank you, Stefan! The hats of the week, because it's that time again.

Like Gary, I will be switching to my BBQ Stetson this afternoon. With 20+ yrs of wood & charcoal smoke, bbq rub & grease, this hat smells wonderful. It has more annual rings than an old tree.

That is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL Champ, Joe!It wasn’t till I looked at these photos this morning, I realized how “Easter egg” this whole look was projecting. I guess that worked out… Happy Easter.

Yowza!!!! What a show-stopper, Jim!!!!
What a tremendously unique and, dare I say it, fun, hat, Jeff!!View attachment 779768 View attachment 779769 View attachment 779770 View attachment 779771 View attachment 779772 View attachment 779773 Deluxe Toss-up by Portis.
One of the most unique hats I’ve managed to find, with a white heathered felt, decorative spiral stitching through the brim, a woven band that resembles sound waves , and a bright red feather accent that is poised “the wrong direction.”
Light and whimsical. Too light for these winds today, so I had to leave it at home for my walk. It did make it out to holiday festivities, however.
Congrats on such a great score, Jeff!!Felt like a great day to wander around the streets of Jerusalem and get some shopping done. My favorite second-hand store had this fella waiting for me. Settled with the guy for the equivalent of $50 (it was new, unworn, but very dusty). Akubra Cattleman in my size, just waiting for me.

What a fabulous find, I had no such luck when my wife and I spent a day in Jerusalem. Our visit was part of a cruise ship's itinery. But I tell you Jeff, passport control made you feel like a drug runner or would be terrorist. Security is of course, paramount but why would they ask:Felt like a great day to wander around the streets of Jerusalem and get some shopping done. What you learn about security is that it's not even so much about the actual answers as much as the responses to bring asked the questions. They are watching for many angles and are trained to look for certain things (unknown to most) in receiving the responses. What a fabulous find, I had no such luck when my wife and I spent a day in Jerusalem. Our visit was part of a cruise ship's itinery. But I tell you Jeff, passport control made you feel like a drug runner or would be terrorist. Security is of course, paramount but why would they ask:
Where were you born, and where were your parents/grandparents born?
What is the purpose of your visit, and why are you here for only one day?
Where are you staying in Israel, and who are you staying with?
Those last two questions still needed an answer even though they knew we were cruise ship passengers. After the grilling, just as we were allowed through and without looking up, one of the passport officers commented on my rather large brimmed straw hat: "Nice hat." "Thank you," I replied, not knowing who had said the comment.
Bellissimo!Easter bonnet.
