It felt like a western day. Early 80's Resistol (United Union tag) 6x Beaver. I've posted this before, but struggled to remove a stubborn crease in the crown, added a slight mule kick, new hat band, etc. Paired with 70's Tony Lama gold label watersnake boots. It seems too early, but my grass is getting green already.

handles will be ordered. And since I'm a homburg man, a visit to Optimo downtown will be scheduled as well.
Your shoes look Italian calf. I need similar for the total look.

Very similar to the one I am waiting on from Gamble and G*u*n*n. Interestingly when I confirmed my order with them, they asked why I wanted the Susquehana hat company version (which name they still maintain) instead of the Gamble and G*u*n*n version. I told them I recognized that they were now the same hat and I would accept whichever name they sent it in. Interesting thought that it appears they they are moving on from the name, no?

Mayser "Libelle", possibly mid 1950s. This Soft Felt is in NOS condition and has a "Echter Mayser" Celluloid (just a guess) Label attached to the Sweatband which is the only one I have encountered. Overall this is a really fantastic Soft Felt. Also the shop "B. Kuntse Ulm" that sold this Soft Felt was located in Ulm where the Mayser main factory was located. I decided to wear it in Camber style which is Brim Up. I found this Soft Felt back in 2021.

Back in 2021 I made a reverse image of the "Echter Mayser" Celluloid Label and translated the German text to English.

You Made The Right Choice With This Genuine Mayser.

It is the best German brand hat, made from the finest materials.

It preserves your personal touch and protects you from sun and rain.

You will enjoy it for a long time if you entrust its care to a specialist shop.

Steve, unfortunately your last couple of posts have left me disappointed. I’ve once again been unable to see the hat pictures. I’ve been able to see the additional photos you post with the actual hat pictures, but not the hats themselves.
