The cold has eased slightly, but it feels like a winter from days gone by, when cold days were constant for three months.
Amid clear skies and a low sun, I'll show you another recent Borsalino.
Borsalino Qualità Superiore size 6, or 7 3/8 in the US. No indication of the color or type of hat.
The felt is certainly a "misto" called Borsalino color no. 202 at the time they produced it.
The felt is slightly bristly and malleable to a certain extent. It's clearly a remake of pre-war models.
The finishing touches are magnificent, especially the stitching on the brim edges.
A truly beautiful hat, sitting unsold on the shelves of Matthias Hutter in Merano.
