Leather is leather. There is nothing about 1 pair of shoes that would be superior to another except for the sole. Definitely want something grippy for ice.
Unless you need them for a professional setting ditch the shoes and wear boots.

Yes. Anything with a sole thick enough that the elements reach the rubber, not the leather. Think RW Moc Toe; boots with a commando-sole etc.

If it´s just cold but dry you can wear anything that is comfortable. So probably not just leather soles...

That makes sense appreciate the clarification.
I’ll focus on thicker rubber or commando soles for wet conditions.

Depends where you are winter can mean rain, snow, or cold and dry.
Temps usually range anywhere from mild 40s to well below freezi
So let's get this straight. You start a thread and ask for a suggestion with very few parameters. A user responds with additional questions that would define your use case, with the understood implication being user(s) could then help provide you with a more appropriate answer. You respond with vague generalities defining winter. Your response reeks of AI chatbot. In fact, if one examines your collective responses on this forum as a whole it even further reeks of AI chatbot.
