7XCB on rainy day in Tupelo, MS. Drove my 93 year old pops to a Dermatology Clinic here in Tupelo to have some skin cancers removed from his face. Probably should’ve selected the Camp Draft but I just wore it the other day. But my hat choice, albeit a fine, fine hat, is the least of my worries today. Nice! This is my first hat from Christy’s, I really like it. Soft, dress weight, easily hand bashable. I hit it with some steam afterwards because I wanted it to hold the bogart style teardrop and it’s holding shape nicely.

Carl Ceschka Wien, Back Bow, possibly 1920s. I think this might be what was called an Artist Hat / Künstlerhut based on the wide 3.5 inch brim which is unusual. The black Velour is of high quality with very high gloss. I found this Velour back in 2024.
