Nice Camper!Camp Draft on this chilly day in Alabama. View attachment 754907 View attachment 754908 View attachment 754909
Looks great! My first Indy copy. Distressed a bit.
I made it from an early 60s Resistol fedora.
The original sweatband was toast so I installed a new one.

Killer, Ran! You score some doozies!Lee Forty shark gill.
Notice the subdued green stripes in the dark brown grosgrain of this new acquisition.
Gorgeous, compliant felt. View attachment 754921 View attachment 754922 View attachment 754923 View attachment 754926
Wow!Beautiful lid, Rick; a crown for a king!!
Not pure beaver, but as far as I know this Stetson has yet to be bashed. There is some wavering where the plastic dust cover squeezes the crown, though. Those plastic covers are not intended for this size crown.

Mine is the standard imperial quality felt, but it has aged well. You’ll stumble upon one somewhere. Best of luck in your search!I keep searching for a Silverbelly Campdraft Deluxe to join my Dark Green and Cedar Brown...but alas no luck so far

Thank you kindly, Randall. Both your lids today are spectacular, but I’m salivating over the Lee 40!Wow!

Nice one. Happy StingyMas. That last photo is great.Borsa coffin stingy in color Ghiaccio ("ice"). Perfect for cold days.
I actually never wear this hat. But it's a fun one for StingyMas.
Happy Hanukkah. May the light of heaven bring comfort and healing to the Jewish community around the world.

Ive got a green Imperial, and a slightly darker Green and a Cedar Brown in Heritage. No complaints about my Imperial, but in both of mine, the Heritage hats are at least 1/2" taller crown....( not sure if thats a design feature of if my Imperial shrunk a bit) I really like slightly taller crowns . I love my Stylemasters, but that are lower crowns. At this point if I ever find a CLEAN silverbelly at the right pricepoint Ill jump regardless of which felt. Campdraft is just such a comfortable, versatile hat. Over the past year Ive seen a few but they were either way to small or looked like a previous owner used it to wipe his oil dipstick clean lolMine is the standard imperial quality felt, but it has aged well.
