One of my very favourites to support my students in their English speech contest today. Borsalino.

So proud of my students, who took first and second place.

The Fléchet X Velour rather appeals. How did you get the accute accent over the letter 'e?' However, the Borsalino Vaiato does it this week, what a fabulous brim!

My bespoke Gamble & G*nn (it rhymes with Nun but the censor blanks it out,) was the choice for church this morning, I took a chance on the weather, the cost of this hat made me think about keeping it dry.

That says more about the teacher, I think!
How do you say “Mazel Tov” in Japanese?!!
Beautious Borsa for the event.
Thanks. Not so sure about that. Two very motivated students. What was actually more gratifying for me was the junior high school student who came back to practice with me at the primary school. She didn’t place, but I was just as proud of her.

Another wonderful week of hats yet again, Stefan.

I don't usually pick a favourite as they're always all praise worthy. This time, however, my envy was drawn to the Tirard. What a delicious chocolate brown. It certainly lives up to its name.

The Fléchet velour is a great find. The look of the softness of the felt, the liner colours, and the art deco designs on the sweatband all make it a very desirable hat. Congrats!

Ok, so I'm not really wearing it, but wanted to post so I could wish everyone who celebrates a Happy Chanukah. This is a unique piece in my collection, an "up hat" or a hoiche hat in Yiddish. Worn by certain chassidic Jews, as well as certain important non-chassidic rabbis, these are now frequently being made by Fernandez y Roche. This one is from Kova Hats in Brooklyn, a long-standing hat store catering to the Jewish community. Interestingly, Kova is Hebrew for hat.
