Thank you so much, Stefan. I just can’t bring myself to bash it! It’s really nice to receive some vindication about that from someone who knows.Fabulous hat, Charlie. It would indeed be a shame to put a crease in that one.
That’s high praise that I proly don’t deserve …when I die I would like it said that I always went well hatted…Vic, i could say this is a hat we hardly ever see around here but then i’d have to copy and paste it to every hat you post.
I have to think hard to remember if i’ve ever seen you post just a regular old nice hat and the answer is no.
But this hat yesterday is one we’ll likely never see around anywhere.
It’s the perfect Western.
Profile…perfect.
Color and contrast…perfect.
Uniqueness and rarity…extra perfect.
This…is a HAT!!!
Your single shot dailies say more with less than all.
Thanks for the vicarious enjoyment.
And yes….i like this HAT!

Ah, understood. On my monitor, it shows up as definitely bluish-grey. Either way, still a gorgeous hat. Thanks Mark, but i think it's not blue. It's grey. Maybe it looks blue on the pictures? Nevertheless a very nice Fléchet though!
Beautiful, and beautifully pristine, Dobbs, Nathan.Annual downtown Christmas shopping. First time out for the new Dobbs Fifteen.

You've got a puppy! I like your hat love your puppy!Looks like weve got dense fog all day with a couple spats of rain mixed in. Going to get all my errands done early and then just stay put inside.
Today I stuck a recent arrival up top. Its a fairly decent 5x Stetson, with a 3-1/2" brim and just under 6" crown. Still needs some cleaning and a bit of brim work. Ive got the brim pretty much flattened, but the brim/ crown junction takes a bit of an odd dip in the left / front quarter. Steam and a bit of toliker work should straighten it up. Havent really decided exactly what I want to do with it yet, but like some of my other larger hats, Im leaning toward staying pretty much as-is with a basically flat brim. ( I like flatter brims) Not really enough brim size for a brim curl anyway

This Susquehana, made to measure, always gets my lady's compliments, there again, it does show off her skill to good effect. She made the shirt and repaired the tie and jacket. I bought both from a trader at a festival quite cheaply, the tie had become unstitched and the jacket needed a new lining,.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. And a mighty fine hat indeed! That's a little more brim than you usually don, but it suites you well. A yes very well. I'll be interested to see how you prepare the crown!.Time to wake the donuts…
