What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

It’s hard to believe but it’s that time of year again, folks! That’s right the BrimGrinch is smiling with moths in his teeth as StingyMas is once again upon us.

For those who don’t know StingyMas, created with our friend Mike @Redfokker, is an 11 day celebration of all the fine hats that just happen to have shorter brims. If you want to join in the StingyMas fun.. the rules are simple And very loose. Show off your hats with brims at the shorter end of your collection…. For me I shoot for 2 inch brims and shorter…. Give or take.

On the first Day of StingyMas.…

This Dobbs Guild Edge which I have decked out in WrestleMania pins in honor of John Cena for his retirement match tonight.

I actually thought about Stingymas this morning when I put on the Lamont, but couldn't remember when it started. It appears I was right on time.

Well....today i was planning on pulling out one of my most special, Stetson did it ******* alright, wear only for something special hat, just to brighten up my day.
I was brushing it and noticed a thingy place, then a kinda unrecognized area and immediately went into “Panic Thought Mode”. Oh, who been messin with my hats?? Dog, hit the road!!! You know just regular hat panic.
Alas, i turn it over and what?? Oh yeah, it’s the little brother!!
Hippo digs the Hollywood thing!
I also answered my own question.
Yes, Stetson did make an Open Road 3X Last Drop. Duhh
Be well. Bowen
That gave me a good laugh classic hat panic turned wholesome moment.
Glad the mystery was solved and that the Open Road (and its little brother) are all good!

Seasons' greetings, my friends! I've been too lazy to post lately, but I thought I would chime in. It's getting cold, and the season's festivities are underway. Still waiting for my wife to get ready once again. Standing under my old warm Stetson. View attachment 754444 View attachment 754440

Good to see you, Reggie. Posting here shouldn't feel like an obligation, but we're always glad to see you. You haven't lost your touch with the perfect ensembles I see. Very nice.

Chilly morning here. Supposed to be in low to mid 20s by tomorrow morning. Thought about a little black Stetson G-u-n Club hat that hasnt been off the wall in a while. A "Diamond Jim". When it got here it had a black sweatband, but the top finish on it soon just totally flaked off, leaving a surprisingly comfy suede sweatband

Love those last two. I love the first five, too, but the last two take it. I really like the brim binding plus stitching on the brim of the Wehrmeier.

I know I've already made a fuss over that one but, I can't tell you how awesome that hat looks! Great score!

A nice vertical front and back crownblocking just looks soooo sharp! Definately NOT a slouch hat there my friend!

Beautiful, and beautifully pristine, Dobbs, Nathan.
Thanks guys! It was a fun day out and about with the new Dobbs. And I just about finished my Christmas shopping!
