Continuing with the series of felt hats finished with short, medium, and long fur, here is a Borsalino Grand Prix 1900.

The felt color is "Honey" and the hatband is "Sepia."

Very malleable and soft, the felt has the consistency to stay in place.

The color is beautiful and changes with light and shadow, like all felt hats finished with translucent surfaces.
The sun helps to showcase its quality.

It is a size 6 hat, or 59 cm, or 7 3/8 in US. It remained in a box for a long time due to its poor fit over the years, and a few steam baths have restored it to its original size.

Thank you for your likes and compliments.
That is a beautiful hat, and a very unique color!

My goodness, you couldn’t look any smarter! I have a mid grey Homburgh after seeing the one worn by Al Pacino. I wore it out in public for the first time to a castle Hotel in the Scottish Highlands for lunch for my wife‘s and my birthday a couple of weeks ago. I wore it with a tweed suit and black wool/alpaca overcoat black Oxford shoes and black leather gloves.

Today I’m keeping it simple with a classic wool fedora — one of those pieces that seems to get better the more you wear it. The older I get, the more I appreciate hats that balance comfort with durability. There’s something grounding about putting on a well-made hat before stepping out; it becomes part of your rhythm for the day.

What I’ve noticed over time is that the rest of my gear has followed the same pattern. Instead of buying things just because they look good, I’ve started gravitating toward pieces that actually hold up, feel good, and work with the rest of my everyday wardrobe. If anyone else here prefers that kind of practical, long-lasting approach to daily wear, I’ve had a good experience browsing through https://lvadgear.com — they focus on durable everyday gear that pairs well with classic styles, hats included.

Really enjoying seeing the variety everyone posts in this thread. It’s interesting how a hat can say a lot about the kind of day you’re having. Looking forward to seeing more of today’s choices.
Ok, i’ll bite.
What ‘s with the picture?

I totally missed it. I saw the picture and it definitely seemed out of place, but I didn't give it much more thought. Was he trolling or something? His post and handle appear to have vanished.
