VERY nice, Joe!!

Excellent specimen, Joe! Fantastic shaping too!
Thanks guys.. it is probably my favorite thin ribbon. I would wear it a lot more if it werent for fear of sweating through or somehow damaging this 90 year old survivor. If memory serves.. that crease I put in there was dry shaped.. this how thin and workable the felt is.

The Barbisio, I wouldn't say no to the overcoat as well. Stefan.
Apologies for standing you up yesterday. I was already to post my selection when a medical condition that I have transpired otherwise. That condition is known as an inguinal hernia, which is due to be surgically repaired.
Yesterday, it gave me enough grief for Tina to call an ambulance. At the hospital, Tina & I tended to stand out a tad, we were all dressed for church, even the surgeon, who I eventually saw joked: "We do get a better class of patient on Sundays!" His nurse asked for permission to photograph me, so I put my bespoke Gamble & ***n hat back on and posed. Will I make it to Facebook?

My hat might have had a bit of attention yesterday but your Barbisio would probably have had more. The shape is exquisite whilst the colour is perfect with my blazer. Your's is a beautiful hat, Stefan.

I have many internet "friends" here on The Lounge whom will wonder if I am okay. I'm fine, I was allowed home after a day at the hospital and now I am wearing a support that's a great help. Here's yesterday's hat.

A footnote, can anyone read a heartbeat printout? Tina tells me that my old ticker is as robust as a twenty-something's.

Thank you for the comment, Robert. I can certainly understand messaging about someone else's hat would not be the first thing on your mind when dealing with an affliction like that. Glad to hear you're back on the track again already.
The heartbeat reminded me of this one:

It might be "the English way" according to some, but hopefully you're not hanging on in 'quiet desperation". By the looks of it, it's anything but that, thankfully. You and Tina keep going, Robert.

I realized, guiltily, that I missed the Sunday parade of hats from the Netherlands.
It's impossible to rank them all due to the extremely high quality of the lot worn by Stefan.
If I really have to choose, here it is.
Thank you, Daniele. Thankfully you don't have to choose.
