Finally got rid of the rain for a few days..... Time for morning coffee with some English blend pipe tobacco under a Stylemaster
Welcome to the Lounge. That's a really nice hat to open your account with. This is a tan/ light cream Bee hat which I recently got from my local antique store.
The felt is still very soft, as if the previous owner wore it very little before packing it away.
Ironically this is the same hat I am wearing today.
Very comfortable. The sweatband is still fairly supple too.
Probably one of the most comfortable hats I own right at the moment.
It also surprised me how good it looks with that suit too.
I don't have any pictures of the under side with the liner and what not. However, I am out of town at the moment so I will try to post some when I get back.
Hope you enjoyed!

Thanks, Phil. You won't be getting any preaching from me though.Nice ones, Stefan! Especially those homburgs. I like to refer to your Sunday postings as "Hat Church".
Thank you, Gary.Love the Borsalino Dattero in particular, but no losers in there. The Barbisio appeals a lot, as do the Mossants
That's a beauty, Don.
Such good looking homburgs from Knox. This one no exception. Very nice!Knox Superfine homburg on this cool grey morning. I love autumn.

Oh.My.God. What an absolutely FANTASTIC hat, Timmy!!!We started daylight savings time this morning, meaning clocks went back an hour. Stupidest thing I ever heard of. Messes me up for a week or two !! I hate it. Enough with my rant...on to the hat !!
Royal Stetson Whippet in a light tan with matching brim edge binding & a khaki color hatband . Doesn't show up well in the pix but the liner tip has a "onion skin" like material rather than the later hard plastic ones. Inside the sweatband is stamped April 25 1950 with an 10.00 price tag.

Unique one with a bound edge! Is it still a dimensional brim?
