Like most Floridians in our open carry state, an itchy trigger finger. Saw it available from the UK and immediately pulled the trigger. Some things you don't need to deliberate on.

My new vintage Resistol Tycoon in Gray Granite. Sz 6 7/8 Long Oval. Fits like a dream & is light as a cloud! I still am interested in small 7's though & not sure where this one comes in as true to size but I love the teardrop & the 3 1/4 brim & 4 1/2 inch crown are super wearable. It's like it was meant to be on my head. Pretty sure its a 1970's 3X beaver.

Does anyone thing the Cattle King is too much though? I still like it. Gives me great sun coverage.

Just a bit chilly, breezy, and trying to rain... Time to try and pick up some more pecans with the roller before it rains and they sink into the mud. ( or the puppy swallows them lol) Got a bit over 6 gallons harvested yesterday. Good day for a big ol' hat. Today its a nice old Resistol 5x. The longer its here with a big flat brim the more I like it. Im going to forgo any temptation to curl the brim. With the tall crown (almost 7") Im afraid any brim reduction would look funny.... so Im thinking its going to stay just like it is.... Maybe try to find a slightly wider braided horsehair band. Love that hat & the color. Asst Pastel??? Never saw a Resistol in that color. I have a Palomino that is similar. I like the Crystal & Silver Mist too.

Love the cooler? color of the Stetson Stratoliner so hard to judge colors in the silverbelly gray cream tone. That's like a bone grey.
