Echter Rockel Velour, possibly later 1920s. This is an early Rockel Alsfeld Velour. I found this Velour back in 2021.

"Echter Rockel Hut" Rockel Alsfeld, Kraemer & Van Elsberg, G.M.B.H. Köln probably late 1920s or 1930s. The placard has an patented enamel coating and a unique folding stand. Kraemer & Van Elsberg, G.M.B.H. Köln were known for such enamel placards.

This placard is covered with Simili(Simulated)-Enamel. D.R. Patent. Often cleaning with a soft, damp cloth gives the placard its original appearance. Kraemer & van Elsberg, G.rn.b.H., Cologn

Sunday greetings to all! Had some rain and thunder yesterday afternoon and overnight...Kinda of nice to wake up to a cool 60 degrees... Almost jacket weather. Cant wait because jackets means I can wear bigger hats without looking cartoonish.. Todays hat is a nice little Royal Deluxe Open Road. This little gem got to me with no liner... hoping someday I can find a correct Stetson liner for it and fix that issue.. Till then it wears just fine without one. Been thinking of ordering some spare liners anyway
