Forecast was for afternoon rain storms when I left home, so I wore the BOP clone. No rain yet.

Hat of the day is a Bates Poet in rust. UK retail is £285, but I managed to bag this one in my “big head” size for £50, as it was the last one. Very comfortable hat to wear.

EDIT: the colour in the picture is rather misleading, it is brighter than this. Please see second picture

More errands and running around to do this morning. Switched over to the Stetsonian.... Nice soft hat without any kind of factory crease..... I like slightly taller, less " structured crowns. just a simple center dent with JUSSSST a little bit of modest side dents. Still have a bit of a character stain on the brim edge ribbon. It only shows up in certain lighting conditions so Im not really going to spend a lot of effort into it

“When the Easton is in the house”
“Oh my God!” “Danger!”

Straight outta Easton, this is my Berg Lord’s Hat made exclusively for The Young Men’s Shop in Maryland. Because honestly, this run-colored felt with a Kasmir Finish is intoxicating—rich, warm, and bold enough to stop traffic on Washington Street. A hat style this sharp should definitely come with a hazard sign.

I found a few good deals from Australian and Japanese markets..... hats not readily available here in US... ( in particular colors not available here) Salvation Army website in Australia has been a good source..... not sure how and if the current tariffs have affected the prices
I've seen that site. Was shipping reasonable before the tariffs?
