Dunn and Co - Brown Long Hair
4 3/4 crown as shaped
1 1/4 patterned ribbon
1 7/8 raw edge brim

Once again to Stefan’s magical mystery care package for another StingyPendance entry. Dunn and Co in a beautiful dark brown long hair felt. This hat feels as though it has never been worn. Pure petting felt that shines beautiful in the sun with its long fibers. It’s got a fairly pronounced flange on the back of the brim giving a bit of tyrolean fashion… but it is one really nice looking hat. I love the patterned ribbon.

and to to go full StingyPendance here is my favorite stingy straw. Knox Montale in Hickory with plenty of ventilation.

Woot! That Dunn is one DAMN fine hat, Joe!!! And I agree with you: that ribbon is the cat's meow!! And that Knox is certainly nothing to sneeze at either! Stand-up double in the stingy stadium!!

Good morning on the 4th of July.

Yesterday evening I was enjoying outside escapades under the brim of a Stetson Stratoliner.

This morning's dog soirre was taken under the brim of an Optimo Plantation.

Home and a walkabout under the brim of a Tropicool.

I ran over and filled up with fuel for the lawn mower. A JC Penny thin ribbon straw was the perfect errand hat.

I went over to visit my neighbor for a "Pour at 8:00am" wearing a Champ. the airy Champ was the perfect hat for sitting on his dock.

A Happy 4th of July to one and all from Jerusalem, where no one is more excited for US independence (perhaps this year, even moreso than some Americans themselves). As we come to the evening and the onset of the Jewish Sabbath, I am wearing a new, black Fernandez y Roche from Baron Hatters (not the one in LA), in Jerusalem.

The language on the last photo translates to Baron Hats Capital (Jerusalem). They are the exclusive importers from Spain for this brand here in Israel.

With a generous 8.5cm (3.3 inches) brim this recently arrived Hornskov Panama is definitely not a StingyPendence hat.

Sorry Bob @BobHufford , I'll try and do better tomorrow

StingyPendence? Had to look that up: "Pendence" generally refers to the state of being undecided. It can also mean being suspended or hanging. Curious definition, but one thing is for sure Steve: "You wear that hat so well; it looks like it was made for you!"

Tina made these trousers, with the hat that Gamble & ***n made, in mind. They compliment one another so well that I chose the felt rather than a straw, even though we are enjoying some serious sunshine. Tina even bought the tie, it was one of those chance purchases that she came across at a vintage festival. I love it.
