Modified MF Campus jacket, “lined with a-2 cotton liner material [easier on and off]. the collar has been reversed so that the corduroy is facing in instead of out. furthermore, a great deal of time, effort, and expense have been put into making this jacket a wearable 1930s jacket. a 1930s label has been stitched on the liner. the front buttons are original 1930s Casin colt Yale buttons, while the backing buttons are early 20th century bone buttons. the side buckles have been replaced with 1930s Art Deco buttons. the jacket is an attention getter, and has been mistaken for an original 1930s jacket a few times.”

Vintage 1930s wool Cossack, brand unknown, size 16 (perhaps women’s jacket). That back is insane, it reminds me of Regius’ work for Marc. Imagine the front as a normal leather Cossack jacket and the back as the same as this wool jacket in leather.

Leilah mentioned the Beck 333 as one of her favorite all time jackets so I was looking for some nice examples to admire.
Found this blog post with a lot of beautiful shots of a beck 333 repro worn very well and tastefully in my opinion. Makes me want to get a jail striped t-shirt or long sleeve to wear under my black cross zip - such a cool look..

Lovely pics! And good to see the Beck get some love. Buco weren’t the only ones making great jackets!

I’m a big fan of stripey shirts! Bronson do a lot of prison stripe shirts, jackets and pants, if you want to dip your toe into that water. I actually prefer narrower, Breton-style stripes myself.

Funnily enough, I pulled out an old stripey tshirt this morning (blue with thin white tripes and rather nautical). My wife turned up her nose and said she ‘hates stripes, they make you look like a prisoner!’. I smiled and though’if only you knew what a lot of cool dudes are into these days’ lol

Iron Heart x Simmons Bilt Pale Rider. The owner should have worn his leather shirt insideout for the stronger indigo bleed

So I got to thinkin . . . I often come across photos of cool jackets owned by others, and I struggle to find an appropriate thread to post the photos. Sometimes there is a brand specific thread, but other times there is not. Sometimes I am forced to start a thread for a particular jacket, solely to share the photo, even though the photo probably does not warrant a thread of its own. So, I figured its time that we have a depository for all the random photos we come across depicting cool jackets that we would like to share with our TFL brothers and sisters, so that we don't have countless individual threads for individual jacket photos. In other words, we should have a jacket appreciation thread (I elected to exercise a modicum of decorum and leave "appreciation" off the thread title).

Here are a few random photos I came across today:

Hi all, here comes some of mine .
First is a schott sportswear 418. From the early 80's. Next one is a Schott perfecto 125 from the 90's. Third one is a Boda Skins ( British brand from Manchester) , model Kay Michaels 2.0. Next IS a Schott perfecto 618 from the late 80's or early 90's, not sure . The last two jackets are made by the brand Goosecraft. I own another two Schott perfecto, later Will post them.
Nice thread by the way.
