Yes, usually pikes are worn one size up to your regular size so no worries.I really like the style!
But my toes are getting cramped by just looking at this non-anatomical form
I hope this last leaves a lot of room in the front?

You're not getting anatomical out of that no matter how many sizes you go up. At least that's what it seems to me, might be wrong. And the more you go up in size the more out of place your ball of foot and natural crease/bend line of the boot go. Bold style for sure, far from the usual "heritage" or "workwear" stuff that folks in our hobby tend to go for. I'm a big proponent of barefoot footwear myself and yet 95% of the time I wear PNW stuff or engineer boots.Yes, usually pikes are worn one size up to your regular size so no worries.
It's save to say that i really don't care about conformity and what some mens fashion blog think is trendy or look good, i wear what i like. I don't cuff my pants for example, this seems to be very modern, but i don't care for that, never did.
Well it's not like I wear my pikes 8 hours a day every day of the week. I'm wearing them for many years now for more "fancy" outgoing sessions and never had a problem with my feet. They still look the same and they still feel the same. Of course if i would wear them every day of the week for many hours, things might be different. But I do have sneakers too for going for groceries or shorter errandsYou're not getting anatomical out of that no matter how many sizes you go up. At least that's what it seems to me, might be wrong. Exactly. But what I don't really like are Gentlemen on YouTube trying to tell men what goes and goes not. Who are these people to say what looks good or bad? I've seen quite a lot of videos like that browsing and yes it's good if people have something to get inspired by when they're out of ideas or can't of think anything but overall these videos shape peoples perception too much for my taste.Very well said, everyone should find his own style![]()

*You're wearing an oversized jacket while being 45 years old ? Oh my, what a sin, shame on you!! You're wearing the wrong colour for your age? How could you, get in line! You're wearing the wrong trousers with your shoes? Off with your head!*
If people are interested in what they wear and have a tiny bit awareness what they like and what not plus a mirror, they will end up with something that looks always good by themselves I think. Sometimes people just don't know there's certain things that they like or can pull off. With a little boldness I think everyone can find their own nice style when it comes to clothing.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I mainly wear Chelsea Boots these days, RM Williams offers lots of options in wide widths so that's my go-to.
Now that I have a better idea about sizing I'd like to try out some slip ons again. I remember Rider Boot had some really nice Chelsea boots, but I'm not sure if they're still taking orders (they haven't gotten back to me yet, and their last posts are from months ago). Then there's the option of engineer boots but most of the ones that look good to me are backed up by months.

RMW are nice dress boots, but have been way overpriced for a decade. The Gardener and Lachlan are great for casual wear and the Comfort Craftsman is a good dress boots. For something a little more casual, Redback and Blundstone do some good Aussie Chelsea boots.
The loophole is to order from Europe, now that RM corporate doesn't allow Australian stores to sell abroad anymore. Once the VAT is removed at checkout, you're at the old RMW price.
Around 500 Euro for Comfort Craftsman Boots in a "standard" leather. Shipping will cost quite a lot though.I used to buy a pair each year when I went home to Aus, but even there the price is insane now. They are a nice boot, but priced out of their level.
How much are they from Europe?
I was considering them for a while because of the kangaroo leather, but it looks like they don't ship that outside Australia? When it comes to Chelseas, don't overthink. Just get RM Williams. They are nicer than Chelseas costing twice as much.
Looks like that Rider brand you mention isn't even cheaper than them, so it's a no brainer.
I don't get how there are cowboy boots and ropers that are easy to fit, with people here wearing them all day with no issues, yet engineers are so hard to size for? Something must be going on with the lasts for engineer boots. On my next visit to Japan I'd like to see about trying on and possibly getting a custom fit pull on from Zerrows or someone else.Engineer boots look great in Insta pics, but are hard to size well enough for daily wear.
My next boot will be another Brisselblack, but this time either a zip-side or a Chelsea. Easier to size and wear than engineers and will work with a medium width hem on trousers.
