Back from coffee and errands. Had the chance to draw an young fellow at the coffee shop into the hat addiction today. He usually has on a floppy Dorfman Pacific wool Indy-ish hat. He has commented about liking several of my hats in the past. I had promised to help him find a nice hat at a good price... Today I took a couple different black hats over and gave him one of his choice .... he picked a Black Sovereign Temple ( I had two of those) . I do believe he was happy lol
Back home trying to enjoy a final dry afternoon before the weather changes tonight. Changed into one of the Stetson *** Clubs and fired up the pipe out back. Watching the bright sunny sky dissappear and turn all grey. Broke out one of my Nordings and some Sutliff Vanilla Custard. Smoked some stronger English blends lately, so I thought Id make the patio smell a little better with an aromatic for a couple days

I share your concern, Cormac. Though,
the butcher's shop closed because, among other things, the owner of the building put up an exorbitant rent, corona, and inflation. So economic challenges.
Petitgas is a nationally preserved building, so the rent is low. Hopefully, someone will take it over once Bernhard retires.

Looks like we may or may not get a bit of snowy mix this morning... switching over to 100% chance of rain for the afternnoon, evening, and into tomorrow morning. Hoping Mr Moose gets to see some snow... he loves it! One way or the other its going to be chilly and a good day to bundle up, grab a big coffee, and fire up a pipe on the patio.
Heading out this morning in one of the Caribou Stratoliners ( I have two... one snap brim and one flat brim). Today is the snap brim. For a modest modern Royal hat, Ive always liked the look and feel of these (not a high value hat that I have to be careful with)
