I was a little gobsmacked at the final price - I figured the obscurity would keep it down. Wonder who your competition was?

New hat day, I wanted a vented summer hat for working outside and wasn't really sure which way to go but I found this Ultrafino Havana with the shape and dimensions I was hoping for. I'm not sure how it will last, but its lightweight and vents really well.

Thanks! That is an interesting read in the straw types thread. I'm not sure what the toyo straw means for durability, probably not super durable, but it does explain the nice lightweight nature of the hat.It sure looks nice. I’ll take another look at Ultrafino again after seeing your hat.

Nice important find! This Rolnick, sans Byer, was in need of a buyer when I happened on by so I buy'd it.
Advertised as quite large (like the size of a barge) but it fit like a glove when I try'd it.

So glad it fits you but collection worthy even if it didn't.Thanks HJ!
I might not have recognized it's significance had it not been for Greg's thread making it's way to the fromt page last week.
