Hah well I could see how it’d appear that way. I put my deposit down in May ‘21.

I forgot that I was supposed to let them know my measurements by beginning of December for completion at end of December. I got them the info at end of December and it’s ready now mid January.

Also Scott did underpromise / overdeliver once I got all the order details straight. His first estimate was ship by end of January and every update after that was faster

And a good deal on a used Ooe Yofukuten moleskin cossack. I'd been looking at this jacket for a year and never pulled the trigger.

That moleskin cossack is very cool. Looks very much like the "ones that use to make"

I just followed him. Can't wait to see the jacket. Nothing really like it out there now. I like his wool material. It's the fancier weaves and not the run of the mill nylon melton.

Unlined! I had a super old Sportclad hunting jacket made from this type of wool. It was unlined as well. Truly no need for a liner. The sleeves just need to be wide enough for easy on/off.

Nice! The Filsons wool Macks are also unlined. Makes a lot of sense actually. Can't wait to see this one. Not a lot of good woolen mills left in the world. Most of them are still in the UK...

Yeah I've worn unlined Filson Mackinaws for years; heavy unlined wool is awesome across a surprisingly wide temperature range, compared to synthetics. Would be happy to see such mills & ranchers get a business boost from communities like this.

Might be a slow boat... I had etsy orders from both Ukraine & Russia earlier this year and each took months to arrive (esp. the Russian one), though I was warned as such so it wasn't a big deal. I recall the Ukrainian order delay mostly being due to US Customs in NY sitting on it for weeks.
