Got two like this at a Re-sale shop here in the mid-west. I sold the smaller one. This one is a bit small for me, I think it is a 42.

The Old Timer, a bit big-probably a size 46

the smaller 42 looks mint, that's a nice shade of blue. I want to find one in my size for sure,

Fit feels great, leather very nice thickness and pliability, some apparent pull up effect. From the state of the sleeves seems like it was never worn? Or perhaps just by someone with smaller arms. Could be short going by the end point of the zipper? Dunno. One step closer to an all Thedi collection

Hey that turned out pretty well. I took mine out to take some measurements and then started 2nd guessing myself. I'm with you, All Thedi Collection LOL. There's a lot more details on your jacket than mine (the shark gills sort of effect on the back, kidney panel, piping, handwarmers, wrist snaps). It's like you got a car with every option, showroom model for sure.

Got a previously-owned, but basically unworn Thedi shawl collar (sort of A-1 style) in black Italian cowhide on route to me.

Always liked Thedi, but figured I'd have to order custom because Thedi's off-the-rack configurations were always out of whack for my measurements. Closest I could come with those would be **XL, which would still be: a little tight in the chest, too short, and have sleeves *way* too long.

But then I saw this one for sale - it was a custom order with very good measurements for me that the owner said he bought a few years ago, put in the closet, and pretty much never wore.

I'm looking forward to receiving it soon:

I'm so happy to say this arrived and the fit is very good! A little extra room in the body, but these jackets are a tad boxy anyways. Waist is generous, but I cinched the straps on the sides and that makes the waist fit well. Sleeve length perfect, jacket length perfect, shoulders fit and feel great.

This really does look and smell like a brand new jacket. Considering I paid 50% of the new price...I am thrilled with it!

I'll try to get a couple fit pics to post in the next couple days.

Epic fail from EBay. I hate buying on there and this might be the last buy / return. Almost every seam is missing the stitching and separating or just being barely held together by the inside glue / inner stitch. Shame because this one fit really well and the thickest perfecto hide I’ve ever come across

that's very insightful, I think I get it to use a fiber reactive dye for making it darker if I wanted to. What brand is an example of that?

I used iDye to dye a wool-blend reproduction military uniform, with very good results. I had to use both the Natural (fiber reactive) and Poly version of the color to do it because of the polyester in the wool and thread.
The first attempt to dye it black with a different brand of fiber reactive dye failed. The wool came out chocolate brown and the thread did not change color. Anecdotal, but it supports Marc's idea that the sherpa will come out fine.

And that's just the search - They also got CH featured in the "Curated Collection" list at this very second AND a new, rehashed article from just a few days ago, which means people are searching for it like mad. CH is the most popular brand at this moment just about anywhere, hyped to death by rap stars and such and everything you got up to 2015 has literally tripled in prices. Belt I got was regularly sold for $750 in 2018 & it's over $2K at this moment. It's pretty insane. I'm trying to grab a few pieces from sources that still hadn't caught up with the hype and quickly move some pieces but I really dig the belt and the bracelet, which I intend to keep.

I think we're good another year or two as this junk is hypin' in China rn but after that, we'll see. I don't think the prices will ever go back to what they were a few years back. Hadn't happen with many niche jacket brands, let alone with a company as big as CH.

Most of those listings are so old! I have a feeling it’s a bunch of people trying to get out of a bad decision. Reminds me of a pricier trendy brand like Ed Hardy or Von Dutch. Stay off Grailed. That site should just call it as it is and drop the “G”.
