Is it really 1940s? Hard for me to tell.

Hard to be definitive. Lots of styling cues shared with my 40s Eagleson, so maybe. Like Jon said, nice HH too. The sleeve buttons say older to me but hard to better confirm without the original main zip. It certainly is a true vintage piece, IMO.
