Since I can't have the Cav Scott bought from Moon (he said he wouldn't sell it even if hell freezes over), I figure this is close enough.

Luckily, the brim is a little too narrow for Stefan's taste, or he would've scooped it up. The man is insatiable!
The same seller has other Borsalinos at a fair price. I talked him into free shipping from Sweden to Texas.

Then over this past weekend I ran accross this awesome rare hat, with felt like butter!!
The wonderfiul red and white blocking tag and orange re-order tags present! It is late 40's! HOWEVER.....it is a size 7.....so trade bait!
Oh, well, at least I have had the opportunity to own, hold and feel one!
The ad is from 1946...... Do YOU look your best!?!?
