Another virgin. Can I be #2...???just showed up at the studio and this Churchill 25 was here waiting for me
I had no idea what to expect because admittedly I know next to nothing about Churchill ... I am pleasantly surprised
The hat is superbly constructed and the felt is very nice
What is most interesting to me is the color.
The color is called "Natural"
It is sort of taupe... but very much has some almost sage green undertones... great color.
the true color does not show up in these photos
The hat appears to be completely unworn and to never have been creased
I don't think I will crease it any time soon because I am undecided as to whether I will keep it or not... it is slightly loose on me.... we'll see
Honestly it wasn't love at first sight
as I said I know next to nothing about Churchill hats so I don't know what era it is from... but the price tells me 60s?.... possibly 70s .... no idea

That is lovely. It's one of their real straw ones and not synthetic right?Just in from USPS, is my new Akubra Balmoral. It is a little big, but fits nicely once I put the sizing material in place.

Think Bama (?) was #1.
it's a true 3/8
Regardless. Crown looks big n fat.Straw Open Road showed up today. It's not a vintage Panama one, it's a cheap shantung one that I won't worry about sweating through, which is what I'm doing to it already.

It is made from hemp rather than a synthetic material.
Will shrink it to fit or gro out my hair
Thats great. Some of their summer "straws" are like polyvinyl thingys.
word ... waiting to hear back from @Bamaboots
No hurry. Hit me up whenever.
Not bad looking AND the price lives up to the name!just showed up at the studio and this Churchill 25 was here waiting for me
