Thx. Especially her ribbon work. Omg, thats awful. "Hate when that happens..."Bob, that Esther is stellar.
for my poor hat, it fell off a rack in the garage unbeknownst to me. When I pulled out the car, I saw this one and a Steton straw smashed on the garage floor. The Stetson must have taken the brunt of the wheel, it was unsalvageable. Lesson, don't put hats in garage where they will fall off and get run over.
Great stuff today!!
Enjoying this cooler weather system with an old friend![]()
exactly what I thought ofI like it! Reminds me of the early 'Flagship" ribbon.
welcome ... and you look greatView attachment 74767 I've been stalking for a while. Thought it was about time to start participating. Never was a hat guy until last year I almost lost my ear to skin cancer. Now I am obeying my wife's commandments to always wear a hat with brim (outside). I still feel like I'm playing pretend when I put one on, but I'm working my way through that.
This is my favorite hat: beaver felt from Paul's Hat Works in San Francisco
Snow today in NW Colorado... Felt season can run into mid-June up here, and it's always appropriate around the campfire! BP today... View attachment 74731
Welcome to the forum, puckr. Sounds like you might have had melanoma if you almost lost an ear. I've worn cowboy hats since I was a kid but I still have had 15 MOHS surgeries for Basal & Squamous cell, & hundreds of actinic kerotosis frozen off. But thankfully no melanoma.Never was a hat guy until last year I almost lost my ear to skin cancer. Now I am obeying my wife's commandments to always wear a hat with brim (outside). Did ol' John Brown really say that?
