Catching up this morning. Sorry I missed this one yesterday. That Marathon is looking pristine Doug. I love everything about it. Does is have kind of a purple note in the sun?I got the Marathon steamed with deeper/longer side dents and adjusted the diamond crease a little, then brushed it out for the fundraiser tonight.

No purple that I've noticed, unless it's from the *** metal grey ribbon and brim binding. It needs a good cleaning, but it's otherwise a real nice hat. I think it looks a bit like a Whippet, but IIRC, was only about $57 or so off ebay.
That was me at dinner last night. I'm such a klutz! They were hoping for 150 at the fundraiser last night and they got 200 so it was a success in many ways.

I should have passed on the Mil Hojas cake last night! I'm up 2 pounds just from dinner!
Raining like cats and dogs here (esta lloviendo gatos y perros aqui) but I want to be a little bit stylish today so I'll take the tough Penman Everyman CS hat out in the rain... just walking from parking lot to the mall and back, and to the cinema and back. I guess I'll pair it with a brown jacket and my NWOT London Fog top coat. That Everyman Indy hat looks deep and rich but it handles the rain like a champion! (Not a Champ, cuz that's my grey hat....)
