Usually Mayser hats from this time period run a little big. In my opinion Mayser made a better hat than Stetson in this time period (smaller production runs and detail work).

Lawler & Hunting Best Quality Velour

I've had this one for a while, just never posted it. I guess the maker is "Best Quality Velour"! I couldn't find any information on it. The hat has a 2 1/2" raw edge brim and a 5 3/4" open crown with 2" grosgrain ribbon and sharksgill bow and an unreeded leather sweatband.

Belgian Hat, the edge is felted welt but hasn't been finished for a crisp inner edge. Hope the pictures are showing now.

Thanks, its definitely a bold color scheme. For some reason I was just really drawn to it though. I'm still on the fence as to whether i'll be able to pull it off or not.
