Zip Gack- what do I clean it with?

It looks like verdigris and it's up and down the zipper track. Also on the inner leather facing of the zipper track. Does anyone know what I could clean it off with? I'm thinking cotton bud, warm water and... something that wouldn't damage the leather.

As a father to two young children I always have wet wipes in the house and tend to use those. I've cleaned my various Aero jackets with them to no ill effect on numerous occasions - including the gunky zip bit you've mentioned!
