This is a rough recipe and the result of drinking with some Marine buddies:
The base is tequila, roughly 2-3oz
Then, equal parts (1-1.5oz):
151
Jack
Jim
Crown
Blue Curacao
Grenadine
Sambuca

This is probably the tamest product of a Soldier and 3 Marines going on a bender.

Here's how I make my manhattans:

4oz Pikesville Rye
1oz Noily Dry
1oz Noily Sweet
3 dashes angostura
1 dash fee aromatic

Keep the bottle of Rye in the freezer for an hour with the glass.
Add all ingredients in your shaker (no ice) and shake hard. Pour up and add a cherry.

'Dandy Brandy'

2 measures Brandy (I usually go for Soberano)
2 measures Glayva
1 stacked tsp Marmalade

Chuck all ingredients into a shaker, squeeze the juice from 2 generous wedges of Orange in. Shake with ice, drain into a chilled glass (looks great in a large martini glass, decorated with orange peel). A few of these will make your night a blurry one! ;)

I like the Sidecar, preferably the version with one part Cognac (instead of brandy), one part Grand Marnier (gives a better taste than Cointreau, it's basically also Cognac, but with the essence of bitter oranges) and one part lemon juice. My favourite cocktail bar does a version with mango and lychee juice, that's very delicious, too. If I can't get a decent Sidecar, I opt for a good ol' Mai Tai.

A classic Champagne cocktail:

Put a sugar cube in the bottom of a Champagne flute, splash a few drops of Angostura Bitters onto the cube, a capful of Hennessy, a capful of Archer's Peach Schnapps and top up the glass with Champagne - delicious!

lol lol lol lol Well, I don't know if you would like them but:

Pink Squirrel:
1 oz creme de noyaux
1 tbsp white creme de cacao
1 tbsp light cream

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Grasshopper
3/4 oz green creme de menthe
3/4 oz white creme de cacao
3/4 oz light cream

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

They aren't all that bad. ;)
