Your Dream Job

My dream job is to be a helicopter pilot but I am a 4F so that wasn't happening, as there was no way I could afford lessons on my own. I also want(ed) to be an actor and/or singer. None of the aforementioned were in the realm of possibility.

My realistic dream job was in the field of psychology, something i didn't choose while I was in that time of younger life when you set your career path.

I've always wanted to be a marine biologist .I could have really, i was a crack at science .
My father's dream job would have been a marine biologist as well. It would have made him happy if I had actually made that a reality, but i was simply too lacking in focus at the time it really counted.

Now, i dream about living in Hawaii , working as a pastry chef and making wedding cakes for all those lovebirds with their destination weddings.

maybe somehow i could meld my two passions: sealife and cake.

I applied to be a travel writer once. Had a really good interview but didn't get it. Pity. That could have been a fun job.

Having been made redundant recently and having a bad year for other reasons, I would consider anything legal, in the South West London UK area, I was the travel trade, but that is not such a good industry at the moment. I also enjoy railway related subjects, a general office duties post would be good too. Part time hours could be convenient, say 3 or 4 days durind a week Mon-Fri.

On a more serious note, I wanted to be a commercial artist of some sort ever since I was a small kid and as a graphic designer and web designer I ended up just what I wanted to be.
Besides I've been working on a comic strip project for a couple of years now and I would love that to be a success

Please take this for some words of wisdom, about education versus where you can go in life. I have my Juris Doctorate in Law and never took the bar exam, and eventually found my course in life bringing me to having a commercial building company and a manufacturing company. So now, not always will our "degree" make things flow for our work, but what education you do have will always help you be smarter and it is something no one can take from you!

Very true. I would just like to be in the history field period, but seem to be taking a circular route to get there! It's just hard to pay those student loans when you're not directly using that degree...
